The Evans Foundation for Molecular Medicine, established in 2006, promotes research into Multiple Systems Atrophy and seeks to make information on the disease, research progress, and patient care available to people living with MSA and their caregivers.

Past Projects

  • 2007: Research with Dr. Richard Haas and Dr. Robert Naviaux at UCSD into potential links between mitochondrial disorders and MSA.
  • 2007-2008: Internal research into links between potential links between mitochondrial disorders and MSA.
  • 2006: Research with Dr. Clifford Shults at UCSD into potential treatments for MSA, through the Parkinson's Disease Research Fund.
  • 2006-2007: Internal research into possibility of high-throughput assay of synthesized potential treatments for MSA.
